A photo from my Belfast Peace Wall tour in 2018, where I visited in an attempt to find the root of my family’s trauma. Some 59 peace walls exist in Belfast to separate the Catholic neighborhoods from the Protestant British loyalist neighborhoods. The walls stretch through roughly 21 miles of the city.
